I'm not bothering with an introductory post as I don't know what to actually say in it so it may come at a later date, I guess. Anyway, I thought instead I'd share with you all the things that I have ticked off my bucket list so far. (It's only 5 things but I'm only 17.)
Indoor Skydive:
For my 17th birthday, my brother and I both did this and it was a really weird sensation, definitely more manageable than completing the real thing so serious credit to my mum.
Give Blood:
This is something that my mum has always done since I was little and as it can help save lives, I knew it was something I wanted to do. This definitely won't be the only time I give blood but my first is something to be proud of.
You can give blood after you're 17 so I did it last year and my blood went to Bournemouth which I found really interesting. I have a very rare blood type and hope to continue helping anyone who needs it as u continue to give blood.
Go to a music festival:
By the way, Reading is quite local hence choosing there but it was amazing still.
Charity Walk:
This is probably what I am most proud of in my entire life. I did the London Moonwalk 2017 with my mum and a friend and we raised £2000 for breast cancer awareness. I specifically chose something a bit original and fun but still a challenge hence wanting to do a charity walk and this was so fun even though it was a challenge. I owe so much to every single friend and family member who sponsored and rang us as they were the people who kept me going that night.
PS, the first photo is me on the stage as they asked for volunteers to do a warm-up and I mean that looked fun, I am generally the first person to want to dance on stage so yeah that was my highlight.
Big Rollercoaster:
I hate rollercoasters. Well, not hate but they are not really my thing. However, I can now proudly say that I have done all the ones at Thorpe Park and a lot of them at Alton Towers. The photo is me and my friend Caitlin at Thorpe Park as I don't have any of me actually on a rollercoaster.
Stealth is my least favourite that I've done. Or Rita.
So far I have only ticked off these ones but, I'm confident that in the next year there will be many more coming.
Speak soon,
Em x
